Getting started
- Add the app to Slack.
- Run
/simantic connectand install the GitHub App on your repos. - Run
/simantic route <repo…>(or/simantic route all) in each channel that should get notifications.
Common commands
/simantic status— what's connected and where notifications go./simantic route <repo…>//simantic unroute <repo…>— run in a channel to start or stop that channel's notifications for those repos (all= every linked repo). A repo can notify several channels at once./simantic repos— repositories currently being watched./simantic events <kinds…>— choose which GitHub events post (workflow runs, PRs, issues, releases)./simantic notify <conclusions…>//simantic mention <conclusions…>— which CI outcomes post or @-mention you./simantic sub <repo>//simantic unsub <repo>— personal repo subscriptions./simantic review on//simantic review off— toggle AI code review of new pull requests./simantic review add <repo…>//simantic review remove <repo…>//simantic review all//simantic review clear— edit the list of repos reviews apply to (alladds every currently linked repo). Only listed repos are reviewed, and the list survives on/off.
Troubleshooting
- No notifications? Check
/simantic status, confirm the GitHub App is installed on the repo, and that the repo isn't muted. - Reviews not appearing? Reviews run on newly opened or ready-for-review PRs (drafts are skipped) and require
/simantic review on. - Uninstalling — remove the app from Slack's app management page; all stored workspace data is deleted automatically.
